Users may now unlock their Windows account or reset a forgotten password using the Self-Service Password Reset (SSSP) functionality using the steps below.
1. From the Windows login screen select the Reset Password link
2. Enter your work email address and then click Next
3. Select the appropriate option and click Next.
4. Complete the authentication challenge by selecting your verification method from the drop down. Depending on your selection, you will need to either confirm the full phone number or email address in the bottom box then click Next
Note: Office 365 administrators require two verification methods.
5. If you selected the Password Reset option, you will be presented with a screen to enter your new password.
6. Your account is now unlocked or your has been password reset. Click Finish to return to the Windows login screen.
